ABOUT KENG
Two founders, two home markets, and one idea that started in a lecture hall in England: that people buying engine oil deserve to know what is actually in the bottle.
The name
Four letters, four meanings. KE is Kenya and NG is Nigeria, the home countries of the two founders. Between them sits ENG, twice over: for England, where we both studied and where the idea started, and for engineering, which is the discipline the products are built on.
It is not decoration. The business starts in Nigeria and is built from the outset to serve Kenya as well, which is why the brand carries both from day one rather than adding a market later.
Why we exist
Counterfeit and adulterated engine oil is widespread across the region. Bottles carry specifications the oil inside was never formulated to meet, and the cost of that lands on the rider, the driver and the fleet owner in the form of engine repairs they did nothing to cause.
KENG is a response to that. Our position is simple: blend to specification, test against it, and be able to show the results.
Correct additive treat rates rather than under-dosed blends. Independent laboratory results behind every specification claim. Batch coding, retained samples and tamper-evident packaging on every pack we ship.
The range
Four products, chosen for the engines that actually run here: older, harder worked and operating in heat.

We blend through established plants rather than building our own, which keeps our attention where it belongs: on formulation, on quality control and on the people who sell and use the product. Specifications are set by a mechanical engineer who works on industrial diesel and gas engines daily, with technical input drawn from three decades in lubricants and additives, and confirmed by independent testing before anything reaches a label.
Where we are
KENG is preparing its first production run for the Nigerian market, with Kenya to follow. We are speaking to blending partners, distributors and fleet operators now.
